Personal Action Intervention

This is a technique developed by Richard Gentle to enable people to regain personal power and take responsibility for their experienced life, health, and general well-being.

“A way to help people who feel they have lost direction in life, but who know they have the potential to achieve more personally.” – Richard Gentle

There are three parts to the process:

  • Assessment
  • Core analysis
  • Focused intention

Assessment takes the form of historical placement – the remembered circumstances and life experiences prior to any life condition developing and still held in the ‘present mind’ as having validity.

Core analysis looks at the deeper ‘root beliefs’ and their formation and offers ways to assess their validity in the present moment.

Focused intention is a special technique that enables a person to decide on positive change; to make conscious choices on emotional feelings; and to begin living the desired change in circumstances.
